Woodwork Family

Free Checklist Reveals How I Set Up A Wood Shop For Under $1000!

Hey,

I’m Kevin, and I love helping people learn how to grow and improve with woodworking. It makes me feel great when I can help people learn new things, and I know how challenging woodworking can be to learn.

I grew up in a family of contractors, so I was around all types of tools my entire life. It just seemed like second nature because it was just what we did.

When I was around 10 years old or so I remember going with my dad and uncles to different job sites. I had so much fun as a kid with them. They used to ask me to do different things like remove nails from 2 x 4’s. This helped me get more confident using basic tools. Soon I would graduate to power tools, and more important tasks.

In high school my family decided to remodel the house we were living in. As hard of a situation this was, it was also a great learning experience in so many ways.

I learned about construction codes, how electrical and plumbing worked, and a lot of self discipline. I spent two of my high school summers working on this remodel.

Shortly after high school my dad started a custom cabinetry shop. I worked in this shop for 6-7 years. Here I improved on my woodworking greatly. We built and installed custom cabinetry and their accessories in high end homes and public buildings. This business helped improve making accurate cuts, and finishing projects.

I eventually decided to start making YouTube Videos on woodworking. This channel is meant to help the DIY homeowners pick the right tools and learn how to use them. I want to help people improve their homes, making them beautiful and comfortable living spaces.

Over the years I have done numerous types of home improvements, and repairs. I have been able to pick up some of the more valuable skills that homeowners need to know.

Skills like home improvement projects and general repair and maintenance are subjects I am covering on my blog, and I make YouTube videos about.

I’m happy to have you here for the journey. We are going to have a great time learning about all there is with woodworking, home improvements, and other DIY type projects.

Sincerely,

Kevin Shiraz
